Fitch Ratings is looking for a Product Management Associate Director to focus on building new and managing existing products which support the ratings business. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to define, plan, and execute on a product management vision. In this role, you will partner with other leads across the Product Management team to execute on the overall product vision set out by the Fitch Ratings Head of Product Management. You will interact with market participants to understand their challenges with ingesting, manipulating, and analyzing data, research and related tools. You will work in an agile environment with our Design, Quality, and Software Engineering leaders. You must aspire to build a product experience that prioritizes both functionality and usability.
Create high level business requirements for new products and enhancements
Work with the Business Relationship Management (BRM) and Analytical teams to identify, specify, and prioritize features and capabilities through direct input from market participants
Assist with management of the roadmap for the Fitch Ratings product portfolio
Act as a Product Owner on scrum teams, how to set the vision for writing and prioritizing use cases, manage the backlog, stay focused and communicate to stakeholders.
Be the product champion and passionate voice of the customer internally.
Able to juggle multiple projects, meet deadlines, deliver results.
Provide superior service to market participants via product documentation, product training, and BRM support activities.
5+ years' experience in product management or software engineering required.
Experience building a financial data product is required.
Excellent analytical, collaboration, organization, verbal and written skills.
Fast learner, detail oriented and must enjoy fast-paced work environments.
Experience participating in customer-facing situations.
Understand the credit and/or risk management vertical as it pertains to Financial Institutions and/or Non-Financial Institutions desirable.
Approaches problems pragmatically with a focus on delivering high-quality products.
BA/BS degree or equivalent.
