Responsibilities of the Economist 3 position include
Forecasting and analysis for U.S. and global macro economies with a focus on financial markets
Preparing written analysis for the company's publications, white papers, and real-time commentary for our website
Managing, constructing and updating forecast models
Presenting to clients and other groups, as well as establishing a close working relationship with clients .
Additional responsibilities may include leading or participating in contract consulting projects requiring proposal writing, econometric modeling, and the writing of interim and the final reports
Contributing to the development and production of new and existing products.
The job also includes occasional travel for client meetings and presentations.
The qualified candidate will have a Ph.D. degree or a Master's degree and three to five years' experience.
An excellent academic record; in-depth research experience; modeling and econometric skills; and excellent writing, presentation and interpersonal skills are required.
