This is a great opportunity for you to join the Development and Construction Team of our Green Investment Group. You'll be a highly motivated Development Manager, and support the Group's transition to a low carbon, sustainable global economy.
Based in London, you'll work in the development function with responsibility for our UK renewable energy investments throughout the project lifecycle. You will work closely with various partners of the Green Investment Group and local teams on the development of renewable energy projects in Europe with a focus on the UK. This role will see you as a central point of contact for local team members.
In addition, you will also provide input on project acquisitions, oversight of the daily administration of pipeline projects including reporting and information flow, policies and corporate governance. You'll also be required to undertake regular travel within the UK and occasionally to other destinations within Europe.
You will be responsible for monthly and quarterly internal reporting on project development progress and optimisation to board members. In order to do this, you will have a very strong technical understanding of renewable energy infrastructure, particularly solar PV. As the point of contact for projects and joint venture partners, you will have excellent report writing and presentation skills. In addition, you will be a confident communicator and have strong people coordination skills whilst acting as the main point of contact for internal reporting and coordination of information. You will also have the unique ability to evaluate renewable energy project opportunities and complete initial due diligence on behalf of our Green Investment Group.
You will have at least four years' experience in project or portfolio management of large-scale renewable energy assets either in a development, technical or construction capacity and a strong understanding of the renewable energy development process. You will also be able to manage a portfolio of projects and technologies from early stage into operations.
