The team is responsible for supporting the business in the delivery of exemplary client service to KVGs, Pension Funds, Insurance Companies, Financial Institutions and other Corporate Investors across a number of geographic locations.
Client mandates vary from smaller clients investing in pooled vehicles with less than £10 million to substantial corporate mandates of increasing complexity.
This teams' delivery is central to the external view of service quality and management and its performance is critical to the success of the business as a whole.
The role of the team, and of each individual, is to own and oversee the delivery of the mandate and day-to-day service and support any changes to these created by the needs of clients and their representatives.
Purpose of Role
This role, based in London, is at the heart of our ex-UK client service team. With a focus on our European funds and clients, it combines ownership of and accountability for the relationship with the KVGs, alongside day to day service delivery to a named book of clients.
Client coverage may extend to other ex-UK regions including Ireland. This is a strategically important part of our business and the ideal candidate will be able to evidence previous institutional client service experience, ideally to include German institutional investors and KVGs; an understanding of how the changing regulatory environment impacts mandates and onboarding would also be beneficial.
As the Client Service team works closely alongside, and in support of, the business development and investment teams, applicants must also be able to demonstrate a real interest in and understanding of investment strategies and the Institutional marketplace.
A key member of the Client Service team, candidates will be able to exercise sound judgement; acting without direct supervision or instruction, while ensuring that stakeholders internally and externally are sufficiently involved in, and aware of, actions taken. Representing the team across the organisation, the successful candidate will be credible and comfortable working and building relationships with colleagues at all levels.
