TRP's global strategic plan requires the organisation to diversify and grow its business outside of the US. The EMEA Distribution organisation's strategy is a key component of this diversification and growth story.
EMEA Distribution has a very clear long-term strategy over the next 5 years. There is clear opportunity to grow current EMEA AUM. 2/3 of growth is expected from 3 main markets – UK/Germany and Italy across 2 channels, institutional and intermediary. The business has already doubled RM and Sales capability over the last 5 years and the focus over the next 5 years is to enhance the productivity of the RM/Sales team, and this can only happen by enhancing the productivity of all functions supporting sales and client service. This comes at a time when client's focus and needs are changing. This will require the team to engage with clients in a different way and in doing so more proactively leverage technology. There are currently 200 Associates in this business area, the majority based in London, the rest in Europe more broadly.
The EMEA Distribution business is led by a senior leader and his newly-formed EMEA Executive Committee (EC) (11 key stakeholders). This role will be a member of the EC. The role will also be a member of the Regional HR lead team and the Global Distribution HR team.
This is a great opportunity to join the existing EMEA HR team at a time of business growth and diversification. The team is currently working with the business to define a 3-year regional HR roadmap to support the business growth in the region as well as determining the appropriate international HR operating model required to support this growth at a time of increasing regulatory scrutiny and complexity. There are currently 20 HR Associates in the regional team, 2 regional HR Business Partners supporting the main business groups (Investments/Distribution and Corporate) supported by a team of Regional HR specialists.
