My client is a high-profile financier, investor and manager of large scale renewable energy projects. With the backing of several renowned corporate and institutional investors, the group has plans to grow the capacity and performance of their existing portfolio and is looking for an Associate to support their leadership team based in Sydney.
With direct exposure to the leadership team, the Associate will have a strategic and value-add Asset Management focus, with key responsibilities being:
Management of the Group Financial & Valuation Model
oInvestment analysis of existing assets
oDriving valuation and due diligence processes
oAnalysis with respect to project debt refinancing and debt structuring
Project Debt Refinancing
oFinancial modelling to analyse refinancing options as the group looks to construct and execute an optimal refinancing solution for its portfolio
Commercial Asset Management Support
oDrive new initiatives that will help maximise the performance of the existing portfolio
oConduct asset and industry specific analysis
oPreparation of investor updates & presentations and portfolio reporting
Treasury operations, including project debt matters
The ideal candidate will have approximately 3-5 years' experience in a financial modelling focused role with the likely background of applicants being from Deals/Business modelling, M&A, PPP Advisory, Infrastructure advisory, project finance or other relevant corporate finance skill set. You will also be able to demonstrate considerable commercial acumen & interpersonal skills, including the ability to present clearly & succinctly on commercial and investment-related information.
