Operations Regulatory Production Analyst - Banking Operations Hong Kong

Act as a control tower to monitor regional regulatory reporting production in synchronisation with local report owners and ensure relevant KPI and KRI are implemented
In case of regulatory incident or issues, ensure relevant action plan is defined and implemented by each report owner
Undertake process review and propose remediation actions to secure regulatory reporting production in Asia and follow up the implementation with project team accordingly
Lead dedicated OPER governance with local entities to follow up on the production performance, areas of risks, team organisation and regulatory evolution
Represent OPER within 3RC committees as report owners when relevant
Keep up to date with regulatory evolution and reforms and continue to develop expertise of regulatory production value chain
Ensure regulatory reporting golden rules are deployed and followed across the region
Coordinate regulatory impact assessment for ROCS/ REG in New Product Committee jointly with regulatory project team and follow up implementation with TTM.
Ensure the oversight of outsourced or offshored regulatory production
Coordinate the implementation of ad hoc regulatory reporting or surveys
Responsible for the production regulatory reporting ( TDCC/ HKMA periodic report /surveys) and shall ensure they are in line with regulator's requirements in terms of timeliness, completeness and accuracy
Key Skill Areas & Knowledge required:
Strong foundation in wholesale banking business and operating model across business units
and service units
Sound understanding of operations key functions, processes and information system
Very strong understanding of regulatory production chain and information system
Sound understanding of regulatory reforms and operational and regulatory risk framework and policies
Strong ability to coordinate with teams in scattered geography
