Opportunity exists to join this established and well regarded Australian Private Equity firm as part of their Investment team. As a Senior Investment Associate you will play a key role in leading deal processes and commercial negotiations and will be comfortable assisting less experienced team members with all aspects of the investment lifecycle.
Working with a highly experienced senior team you will build exposure to origination and will gain hands on operational exposure to portfolio companies. With an active investment mandate, you will have the opportunity to be part of a busy deal team and to interact with management teams.
Covering a broad range of industries, the Fund focuses on assisting management teams with operational turnarounds and improvements and will invest in businesses across Australia and New Zealand. Successful applicants will have ideally gained between 5 and 6 years transactional corporate finance experience from either an investment bank, leading independent corporate advisory firm or from the M&A team of a top tier CA firm.
Candidates who have also spent some time as part of an active M&A team within a corporate will also be considered. Complementing your proven transaction execution and deal lead experience will be a natural ability to build rapport and meaningful relationships with management teams and you will be a confident communicator who can clearly articulate your desire to build a career in Private Equity investing.
