RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

United Capital, a Goldman Sachs company, is hiring a Marketing Manager responsible for building and engaging a growing customer base of 80+ firms and an employee network of 100+ advisor offices through event experiences.
Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this individual owns the event strategy and works with a team of enthusiastic marketers to execute and promote our hosted events, sponsorships, sales meetings, roadshows, live calls, speaker engagements and trade show participation. They're a team player that brings organizational skills and fresh ideas to the role. This role is highly collaborative with the Goldman Sachs Global Events Management team.
Work with internal resources and agencies on the production and promotion of events.
Manage sponsorship contracts, exhibitor space, and experience and speaker solicitation.
Promote events and drive engagement through digital campaigns and communications.
Coordinate content, including invites, agendas and slides.
Collaborate with United Capital/Goldman Sachs businesses and management teams.
Build and manage a twelve-month rolling event plan for UC 50-60 events (25+ tradeshows, 10+ sales meetings (CX, IM), 3 flagship events, internal meetings, and live calls).
Manage and track event logistic documents, budgets and timelines.

Key Position Requirements
College degree plus 7+ years in events and marketing.
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
A successful track record of leading multiple projects and events.
Experience with developing, executing, and tracking results tied to events.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment and track record of successful planning and execution of multiple events with competing priorities.
Excellent critical thinking, prioritization, organizational, and project planning skills.
Excellent oral / written communication, listening, and presentation skills.
