Work on the evaluation, underwriting and structuring of real estate debt investments across the European real estate finance markets
Involved in all stages of the origination of real estate debt transactions, from the initial screening of a new transaction, to the due diligence and documentation review, through to the loan closing process;
Perform valuation analyses using various real estate valuation methodologies, including discounted cash flow, multiples valuation and transaction comparables as well as reviewing valuations prepared by third party valuation firms
Responsible for building detailed financial models to evaluate real estate performance under various operating scenarios and to analyse the impacts of various capital structures;
Provide analytical, due diligence and transactional support on loan origination and new business opportunities as well as providing support in respect of the on-going management and monitoring of existing transactions
2-5 years previous experience in either investment banking or a real estate finance focused business
Excellent quantitative, analytical, research and communication skills;
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and a willingness to assume a high level of responsibility
