We are working with a privately owned Real Estate investment manager to hire an Analyst for their European Investment team in London.
Headquartered in the U.S., the firm has been in operation for over 30 years and is actively expanding their European portfolio, targeting investments in the Industrial and Logistics sectors with a primary focus on the UK, Germany and Poland.
Working in a small team with a flat structure, you will be responsible for analysing, underwriting and executing mainly Value Add and Opportunistic investments across the capital structure.
The firm is very well capitalised and is committed to growing their European portfolio through the acquisition of direct assets, portfolios and speculative developments.
You will gain significant exposure to senior management by supporting the:
Preparation of sophisticated financial models to facilitate investment decisions, including those related to developments, acquisitions, leasing, and dispositions;
Analysis of complex partnership and joint venture structures;
Review of potential tenant financials and lease documents;
Preparation of internal and external investment memoranda and other presentation materials; and
Communication with senior management regarding the status of existing and prospective investment opportunities.
Sincere interest in and understanding of real estate investing
Aptitude for quantitative analysis, with a focus on financial modelling
High-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ARGUS competence helpful
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Undergraduate degree from a highly ranked school, with a strong academic track record
1 - 3 years' experience in real estate investment banking, investment management, real estate advisory or another real estate related field (recent graduates with a degree in finance, accounting, real estate, engineering, and other quantitative disciplines may be considered)
German and / or Polish language skills helpful but not a requirement
