The Sr. Director of Healthcare Sales will be responsible for selling bundled institutional retirement plan services to not for profit healthcare defined contribution plans that are not currently with TIAA.You will be responsible for leading the end to end sales process from demand creation, to executing the finalist presentation, to implementation handoff.You will work closely with internal business partners throughout the entire sales process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Develop sales strategy for institutional retirement plans that have over $50 million in plan assets
Responsible for driving the adoption of lifetime income, total financial wellness, and efficient plan operations for the plans
Build effective internal relationships in order to execute the sales strategy
Accelerate the growth of new to TIAA plan sales
Manage an assigned sales territory
Use social media, and other digital strategies to build relationships and create demand
Build effective third party consultant relations
Support client retention efforts as needed
Series 6 or 7, and 63 FINRA registrations
5+ years of sales experience in the financial services industry, preferably focused on Healthcare
The role requires 50-80% travel, including overnight travel
10+ years of strategic sales experience in the financial services industry, preferably focused on Healthcare
Embraces the Miller Heiman strategic selling system
Strong presentation skills
Demonstrated negotiation skills
Effective use of Salesforce
Excellent working knowledge of financial markets, products, and services
A developed network of contacts in the Advisor, Plan Sponsor and Consultant communities
LOCATION: Candidate desired to reside in Central US footprint
