Job Description This newly created role as Director, Key Accounts will work with the rest of the Global Key Accounts team to develop and implement strategies with key global financial intermediaries, with a focus on German speaking clients. Maintains, strengthens, and expands existing industry-based relationships while partnering with Sales and ARG.
Acts as the contact for intermediaries in world-wide offices regarding all aspects of the relationship with MFS. Maintains and expands knowledge of intermediary's needs, concerns and overall satisfaction with MFS, through frequent direct, written and verbal contact.
Maintains, strengthens and/or expands existing relationships with intermediaries. Coordinates and monitors sales/marketing activity with appropriate contacts. Co-ordinates and monitors client activity to ensure client satisfaction.
Creates business plans for selected intermediaries, with actionable goals that can be monitored and assessed on an ongoing basis. Ensures that all relevant departments within MFS are aligned with these goals and are able to achieve them.
Anticipates and develops strategic opportunities to expand and strengthen the intermediary market. Understands there evolving and changing needs, risks and initiates action to satisfy them in line with MFS' capabilities and business plans.
Evaluates opportunities with specific intermediaries and recommends the level of financial support, if any, based on business requirements, market environment and industry practice; makes recommendations to Key Accounts Head, regarding marketing support, program support, rebate, and/or processing support payments if appropriate.
Communicates activities with intermediaries to other distribution channels at MFS, as appropriate, and seeks information from other distribution channels to insure thorough knowledge of the relationship is shared across the organization.
Interacts with other MFS departments (Investment, Legal, Accounting, Compliance) to ensure dealer needs are being met at all levels.
Networks at applicable industry meetings, if appropriate. Assumes additional responsibilities as requested
German and English fluency.
Strong knowledge of how global dealers operate.
Ability to work remotely and independently with a high degree of integrity. Experience of working across global matrix teams in a collaborative manner to achieve results.
Thorough product and industry knowledge.
Sound understanding of asset management industry; investment processes; regulatory environment. Industry qualification desirable and holds applicable local licenses.
Entrepreneurial mindset balanced with strong team work. Entrepreneurial mindset; ability to leverage and collaborate across all units of MIL and MFS.
Self-motivated, driven, and results oriented individual. Ability to build ongoing relationships with clients.
Strong organization skills with an ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple agendas.
Experience of working with data and CRM systems.
Interest in personal development and growth.
Must be able to travel as required.
To have the necessary experience and skills required by the Mifid II regulation.
