Assist the Vice President (Audit-focused) and Director in the planning and completion of audit engagements and other projects
Prepare and refine audit procedures for the conduct of audit engagements/projects
Execute audit procedures to assess design and operating effectiveness of internal controls
Prepare written audit reports by drafting audit issues and recommendations on the review results of audit engagements/projects
Develop and maintain professional working relationships with clients
Networking and relationship building with industry professionals and industry bodies
Reporting on findings and providing recommendations for procedural improvements to meet regulatory and best practice requirements
Managing regulatory filing and reporting schedules
Providing ad hoc regulatory advice and creative solutions
Experience in audit or compliance role focusing on the asset management industry
Detailed understanding of SFC rules and regulations (including FMCC and MIC)
Broad understanding of the alternative asset management industry
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Client facing, solutions focused skills
Clear, logical thought processes, ability to make decisions and articulate these clearly
Strong English oral and written communication skills
Time management skills and ability to work within deadlines
Solution-driven and problem-solving attitude
