As a senior leader in IT Organization Management, you'll take a macro view of technology and innovation across the firm to develop solutions that have an everyday impact on customers, clients and businesses around the globe. As an experienced professional, you'll be responsible for defining and managing the multiyear roadmap that will provide Global Technology with delivery transparency and predictability. Working at the intersection of business and technology, you'll interact with colleagues in various lines of businesses to learn about challenges and opportunities, and translate that insight into high-quality solutions. While your role requires a deep understanding of Program Management, it also hinges on teamwork and leadership. You'll offer clear guidance and feedback to your colleagues, while promoting the values, culture and brand of JPMorgan Chase & Co. The role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities including:
Create and actively manage the portfolio roadmap and cross-program dependencies - analyzing, tracking and reporting variance against the agreed baseline for early sight and management of delivery issues and risks
Define and run the control points and data standards, tools and roles/ responsibilities to maintain ongoing roadmap and dependency management processes
Manage and maintain the Portfolio Roadmap (key milestones) with cross-program and LOB dependencies identified
Identify key milestone slippage and understand impact, with appropriate escalation as required
Proactively Identify delivery risks from the roadmap and manage appropriately
Implement appropriate plan metrics and challenge repeat slippage (understand drivers and drive corrective behavior)
Ability to understand progress towards achieving GT Vision strategy and outcomes which can be used to engage with technology and business
Awareness of GT Vision program impacts on the region and how they align to regional strategy & regulatory requirements
Provide centralized management of cross program dependencies, ensuring delivery commitments are agreed by both sides and tracked
Manage and maintain the Dependency matrix for cross-program and LOB dependencies
Define a framework for managing new demand or changes to the existing investment portfolio
Management of change to ensure impacts are understood and decisions sit at the correct governance level
Drive the processes to ensure that expected outcomes are achieved and used to inform future decisions with relevant communications to the right teams to c apture progress
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
Proven successful track record of financial, resource and commercial management of large programs and organizations.
Expert in Resource Management; Technological, Organizational and/or Operational Change Management; Portfolio Management; Conflict Resolution; Negotiation; Budget/Financial Management, including Business Case Completion; Controls; and Partnership and Influence
In-depth knowledge of at least one technology discipline (e.g., software delivery, infrastructure management)
Ability to build an innovative culture
Proven strategic capabilities and demonstrable critical thinking across business/technology vision, solutions, strategy, roadmaps and portfolio delivery.
Experience in large scale software development in one or more programming language
Expertise in working in partnership with colleagues throughout the firm, and in leading collaborative teams to achieve common goals
Experience managing complex change with knowledge of what best-in-class portfolio management looks like
Proven track record of financial, resource and commercial management of large programs and organizations.
Experience with Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies
Proven ability to leverage current technology architectures, design and development best practices
High-level proficiency in MS-Office products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio)
High Level proficiency in Project Mgmt. and Agile Products and artefacts (Jira, Clarity, Burndown charts, Velocity, Sprints etc.)
