Group Strategic Marketing & Communications is responsible for building, protecting, and enhancing the DBS brand in an increasingly commoditised banking industry. Working closely with all units within the DBS Group, we create and execute integrated strategies that focus on communications especially digital communications, marketing and research to differentiate - and elevate - our brand from the rest of the competition.
To enhance DBS' corporate reputation and showcase its corporate and business achievements through media/ PR and content marketing led by earned media. The purpose of this role is to ensure that DBS maintains it share of voice in key business and trade publications. The role will entail campaigning strategic corporate themes that are important in driving the strategic agenda of the bank.
Enhance DBS' reputation through positive profiling of our Institutional Banking, Tech & Ops and digital transformation. Identify different and new ways of profiling the business and its related world-class innovation projects. This can be done via engagement with relevant academics, editors of business journals and authors. In partnership with relevant businesses, proactively identify, strategise and execute thought leadership campaigns to reach out to identified stakeholders through integrated communications plans and campaigns Work with relevant teams within the bank to engage with digital communities by:
Generating and curating content for DBS Innovates on Linkedin and other relevant social media and content platforms
Identifying relevant communities to engage
Cultivating relationships and build rapport with key media including social media influencers, bloggers, etc
Provide strategic counsel, plan and execute on strategic communications and thought leadership campaigns so as to positively predispose our stakeholders (investors, customers, employees etc) to the bank.
Mitigate potential media and social media issues
Use analytics and social listening tools to measure effectiveness of campaigns and to further strengthen engagement
Preferably with five to eight years of experience in a corporate communications or strategic marketing role.
Strong writer with a keen interest in executing and tracking integrated marketing campaigns
Resilient, able to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
