They are looking for someone to train in the UK for the first year and then move to San Francisco. You will have a strong academic background, a high level of interest in investments and markets and no less than 8 years relevant Institutional experience. This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your experience into a firm with such a strong culture and little turnover, that this could be your last move.
The role will rely on you to be the first point of call for Institutional clients and build your business in across the United States. Your role duty will depend on you having an established client base.
Key responsibilities include:
Covering listed Global and Asia-ex-Japan Equity products and a Private Equity platform.
Managing large complex relationships
Assisting or generating new business
Creating and executing a successful sales strategy
Liaising with client service teams regarding the onboarding of new clientele
Develop strong product knowledge through close collaboration with investment teams
Sourcing, reviewing and detailing MI and market information
Constant interaction with various internal departments to support ongoing client service and win new business
General risk and compliance responsibilities dealing with new and established clients
Refining and enhancing the approach to producing client and prospect communications
The company appreciates independent and proactive workers with the ability to work on multiple assignments.
Successful candidates will have strong analytical and writing skills.
Good organisational and time management skills are required are a pre-requisite.
Successful candidates will already have built a reputation in wholesale and institutional market
Successful candidates will have demonstrable cv – with long experiences at a few top asset management houses
