We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as a VP, Financial Crime Compliance, Trust and Private Wealth.
Advise the Business on policies and procedures as well as on strategies, initiatives, products and projects, which has financial crime risk consideration
Advise the Business in developing controls and procedures on financial crime risk processes.
Acts as a Risk Steward of the Business on financial crime risk matters.
Liaise with relevant regional stakeholders within Singapore and other Global Business and Functional teams to provide expertise on all FCC matters
Interact with regulators and industry bodies on Private Banking and Private Wealth Solutions Financial Crime related matters
Experience and knowledge of private trusts and private banking is preferred.
Significant financial crime compliance or possibly relevant audit or risk experience.
Knowledge of key current regulatory change initiatives and their impacts on the business.
An excellent understanding of the regulatory environment and expectations, regulations, and other relevant regulations and codes.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both Compliance and Business Senior Management.
Ability to support decisions with sound reasoning.
Ability to clearly articulate business and regulatory implications of analysis and findings.
Highly motivated self-starter with proven ability to work collaboratively within teams and to deliver on time.
Basic knowledge of proceeds of crime legislation, associated AML regulation and guidance processes.
Good working knowledge of AML within the financial services industry.
Proven project management and analytical skills, together with ability to support decisions with sound commercial reasoning
Lateral thinker with an ability to interpret and solve complex issues
