You will be part of the Regional Compliance team where you will be responsible for the second line monitoring and testing function as well as quality assurance for KYC activities across all entities across Asia.
about the role
Perform second line monitoring and testing on the KYC and Financial Economic Crime processes
Ensure appropriate AML, Trade Finance and Sanctions risk assessments are in place
Ensure all results and findings are properly documented
Based on monitoring results, propose recommendations for any gap, mitigation of red flags and ensure that remediation steps are taken by the Business Units to address these gaps
Liaise with and communicate findings with Business, Regional Compliance and Senior Management
Design and conduct compliance trainings to the Business Units i.e. Front Office, Operations etc
Scope of monitoring may expand into other Compliance policies in the future
skills and experience required
At least 3 years of Compliance experience or other related experience such as risk management, quality assurance, AML/CFT testing, audit, or similar control-related experience within Banking and Financial Services sector
Strong knowledge in Corporate Banking products
Good understanding of MAS regulations
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Excellent communications and stakeholder management skills
Knowledge in FATCA/CRS is a plus
