The Role Responsibilities
To grow the business profitably by driving and implementing an effective sales and distribution channel of the Assigned Regions/Cities Business
Business Delivery - The role holder will be responsible for delivering the budgeted business volumes of Bancassurance. Therefore, will be required to establish an agenda of the top business issues and the plan to address the same.
Channel Development - The role holder will be responsible for development and implementation of an effective Distribution Channel strategy. This would include the following
Cater to specific customer and geographic segments requirements on Bancassurance Product while deciding the new business model / distribution channel strategy / marketing strategy
Develop and grow the channels to achieve the budgeted volumes and profits in insurance business Processes
To develop sales kits tools, sales pitch and trainings to insurance sales and relationship manager on business expansion in complied with the Bank's strategy.
To plan marketing events and undertake presentations in seminars in support of insurance business expansion and increase customer satisfaction.
To assist to review the performance and strategy of the Bancassurance business. To conduct analysis on sales and products to develop sales plan with distribution channels. People and Talent
Ensure all staff are trained and certified on insurance product selling, anti - money laundering, mis- selling, mis - representation and other fraud and customer protection principles.
Be responsible to investigate mis-selling cases and assist to handle customer complaints
Training of Sales Force - The role holder would be responsible for training of the sales force under various channels. This would involve
Liaising with the sales academy head in the generation of the training plans.
Partnering the sales academy in implementing the training calendar. Risk Management
Service Quality - The role holder will be responsible for implementation of the service quality norms. This would involve the following All people related issue are addressed effectively across all business units.
Training staff on service quality and its importance
Responsible to the MIS for Insurance product and business planning
Overall encourage and build a culture of service quality in Bancassurance product Governance
Compliance with local Regulators and laws - The role holder would be responsible for ensuring 100% compliance with the country laws and regulations. This would involve periodic review of the existing policies of Bancassurance

Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Our Ideal Candidate
Degree holder from recognized university or above, preferably in insurance, finance, economics or other
8-10 years of relevant experience in Insurance Sales or Bancassurance Sales; Practical experience in driving business and training at the frontline will be of added value.
With analytical mind, strong writing and presentation skills in English and Chinese
People management experience is preferred
Should have been responsible for a business delivery of a large region
Strong knowledge of insurance products and service and related procedures as well as business models
Good presentation skills and people interaction skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to deal with all levels of people, often in complex and difficult situations
Strong planning, strategy and negotiating skills
Self-motivated, with pro-active service attitude and able to work under pressure.
