SVB Asset Management ("SAM") is a SEC registered investment adviser that manages fixed income portfolios primarily for public and private corporations. The Client Management team for SVB Asset Management is responsible for a wide spectrum of client management responsibilities, ranging from daily servicing of account and investment-related topics to leading broader relationship management activities. This team is one of a number of teams within SAM that work together to provide an exceptional asset management solution and client experience for SAM clients. This Client Manager position will be part of the team serving clients in the Boston area and will report directly to the Regional Director.
Primary Responsibilities and Skills:
Responsible for direct client management activities for an assigned selection of the region's clients. Client management activities include managing meetings with clients, knowledge of the client and their business, adherence to outreach and compliance requirements, internal communication around client activities and relationship risk and timely documentation of client activities.
The client manager will have knowledge of investment accounting and fixed income securities. She/he will serve as a resource for clients, providing recommendations and best practices with respect to their SAM investment portfolios, including day to day account maintenance as well as providing clients with system training on SAM Online Reporting and helping clients with reporting and audit related topics.
High integrity and the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
Team-oriented working in partnership with the Portfolio Managers, Sales, and Middle Office/Operations teams to help improve platform knowledge and overall customer experience.
Excellent listening and communication skills, creating rapport and trust with both clients and internal SVB partners.
