JobDescription : The Role: As a Rating Analyst, you will participate in the evaluation of the credit quality of governmental entities as it relates to their ability to repay debt obligations. You will be responsible for aggregating data and information to present to rating committees. You will interact with clients, make presentations, and prepare reports for internal and external distribution.

BS/BA or similar degree with studies in finance, government/public policy, economics, or similar fields
A demonstrated interest in local governments and how they work
Two years of relevant work experience
Strong work ethic and ability to work well both independently and as part a team
Strong ability to work with financial models and data, including cash flow and credit models
Strong communication skills and ability to interact confidently with clients
Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
Ability to be highly organized, detail-oriented, and juggle multiple priorities at once
