Duties: Serve as a full-stack developer within Asset Wealth Management space for key initiative that will provide oversight on Discretionary Account (Annual Account Review - "AAR") to Risk, Supervisory Management, Compliance and Audit users. Responsible for architecture, design, development and testing of technical solutions towards business functionality enhancement and work closely with business users to understand their requirements and implement the same. Responsible for explaining OCC audit, DIM MI audit and daily business related queries related to why AAR Exception generation process, various review (Initial/Annual/Admin/Substantial) related queries, etc, response reconciliation process and Reg9 report generation process. Responsible for design and development of UI components using React/Redux, Webpack and NodeJS technologies to build software production. Responsible for design and Development of GlueJS/Tick42 component so that it will streamline integrate path with AWM space application/product. Responsible for design and development of RESTful cloud native web service using spring framework libraries, Jersey Framework and other Java/J2EE technologies, Gaia Cloud Foundry platform, Docker and Kubernates etc. which helps AAR to modernize technology stack/in line with industry standard. Responsible for design and development of reporting framework using Jasper studio/libraries which helps AAR to produce Reg9 artifacts use in OCC audit. Responsible for design, development of big data pipeline to store daily AAR batch processed data/Reg9 reports to AWM Big data Reservoir (Hadoop/HDFS). Also responsible for design/development of MapReduce job using Apache Spark, Parquet and retrieve data from Impala table. Responsible for design, development and testing of data pipeline framework based from JPMC internal messaging framework (that leverages JMS/RabbitMQ/Kafka) to make sure that AAR events are re-playable or re-producible which in-turn help answering audit and Compliance related queries and transform AAR to event driven system. Responsible for building CI/CD pipeline using Maven, Jenkins/Jules, Nexus and automated deployment process using AIM and Jules. Responsible for analyzing/monitoring production incident using Splunk, AppDynamics tool set etc.
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or related field plus five (5) years of experience in application development, or related experience OR Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or related field plus two (2) years of experience in application development, or related experience.
* Skills required: Experience designing and developing web applications using React/Redux and Java/J2EE technologies. Experience designing and developing SOAP and RESTful web services using Apache CXF framework, Jersey, and Spring Framework. Experience in big data processing using Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Yarn, Apache Spark, and Apache Zookeeper. Experience developing messaging applications using Apache Kafka. Experience in relational database management systems including Sybase and Oracle. Experience designing and developing XML technology based web applications using JAX-RPC, JAX-WS, JDOM, JAXB, and XSD. Knowledge of software configuration and release management processes using Maven, GIT, Jenkins and Nexus. Employer will accept any amount of professional experience with the required skills.
