We are working with a global real estate platform with over £2bn in AUM who are looking to hire a new analyst to their team.
Financial analysis of a wide range of real estate transactions, including modelling of real estate cash flows, financing assumptions, IRRs, output sensitivities etc., as well as research to support key underwriting assumptions
Analysis and interpretation of real estate, economic and public company data, including financial statements, to conduct valuation and operational bench-marking
Assistance in deal execution including managing internal work-streams, liaising with external brokers, liaising with JV partners, etc.
Preparation of documents for internal and external purposes, including assembly of investment committee memos and presentations to JV partners
Ability to work well within a small, relatively flat team
Approximately 1 year of experience or less within a real estate investment fund, investment bank or similar role (including relevant internship experience)
Demonstrated passion for real estate and all facets of the business including investments, development, and operations
Robust analytical and technical / financial modelling skills, as demonstrated either through work experience or academics (strong academics an advantage)
Proven experience in investment / financial analysis and transaction support, preferably within commercial real estate, an advantage
Energetic, self-motivated and a team-oriented individual who thrives on a challenge in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Professional and positive attitude, diligent
Willingness to work across time zones and geographies in Europe and Asia Pacific from time to time, as required
Experience in presentation preparation and research
Proficient in Microsoft Office (excel, word, powerpoint)
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
Fluency in English. Fluency in German or certain Asian languages would be advantageous
