TDS Global funding is looking for a driven and self-motivated individual to fill the role of North American funding Associate.
Roles and responsibilities include:
Issue short-term interest rate products to address dealer funding needs.
Optimize funding tenor and product type to minimize funding and liquidity costs.
Advise clients and internal partners on developments in short-term interest rate and wholesale funding markets.
Leverage holistic understanding of global short-term interest rate markets and bank liquidity to general trade ideas.
Assist in the development of funding/liquidity analytics and solutions.
Identify opportunities (strategic & tactical) that reduce firm inefficiencies.
Price primary and secondary levels for USD Yankee Certificate of Deposit (YCD), USD Commercial Paper (CP) and wholesale funding deposits.
Help manage Day-to-day Funding Operations including management of cash requirements and execution of liquidity instructions.
Manage risk, ticketing and P&L.
Provide periodic commentary for clients, internal desks, and various internal committees.
Develop and execute tactical and strategic solutions to minimize US region and global liquidity costs.
Forge strong relationships with key business partners, understand financial markets and regulation and apply analytics to drive commercial value.
Bachelors' or Masters in CS, Math, Engineering or Business Administration
Prefer 2-5 years of experience in bank treasury, short-term interest rate markets or liquidity management related function
Comfortable multi-tasking, managing multiple stakeholders and working as part of a team
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills and experience speaking to technical and business audiences
Familiarity with financial markets and liquidity management is a plus
Proficiency in Bloomberg and Alteryx
Systems: o Excel o Alternyx o Bloomberg
Knowledge: o Understanding of liquidity risk and concepts o Understanding of short-term interest rate markets o Bank Treasury background
