Department Overview Enterprise Core Services (ECS) group is within the Enterprise Information Technology business and a critical component of the Enterprise CIO operating model aimed at providing common, consistent, and foundational software services and solutions to be used across technology at Wells Fargo. The group includes the strategic development and support of core information management services including data technology blue print, common data services, customer relationship management services and customer due diligence services to be leveraged across all technology teams in Wells Fargo. Additionally their Cloud enablement services is another strategic priority to re-engineer of a significant portion of Wells Fargo's large and complex application portfolio.
About the Role
This is a 24*7 Production Support role, involving monitoring of Batch Jobs, Mailboxes, Reporting application or batch failures to the next level or any other relevant teams like Infra structure or DBA or Business. Perform troubleshooting for issues reported and does root cause analysis for recurring issues. Suggest process improvements and implement automations wherever possible to reduce manual interventions.
The candidates should have a strong focus on ITIL process and should have extensive knowledge working on Application PROD support. The candidate should also possess extensive knowledge of debugging the issues, managing EACO/Bridge line calls in timely basis. Additional responsibilities includes
Provide application / project teams with high level of technical expertise.
Provide on-call support for applications running in the production environment.
Effectively communicating technical and non-technical issues with the business and other technology user groups.
0-2 years of strong experience on Application PROD support.
Good Knowledge in ETL Tools (Abinitio/talend/Informatica) and Scheduling tools (Autosys preferred)
Responsible for product/technical support
Excellent problem determination and problem-solving skills
Must be able to cope under pressure and work to stringent timelines
Have a technical background in troubleshooting production issues related to ETL.
Ability to get to the heart of complex issues
Analyze, update and contribute pointers for automation etc.
Ability to work independently on routine duties or projects with general instructions on new assignments.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to interact with clients (business and technical audiences).
Demonstrate solid analytical programming and problem solving skills including software operation diagnostics
Good to have knowledge on monitoring tools like ITRS, App Dynamics, etc.,
Ability to handle issues call and engage required teams and drive for result/fix.
