Market Job Description
Create and interpret business requirements and develop web applications using full stack .NET framework to provide business users specific views of data and control interactions.
Enhance technical application framework with knowledge of the following development tool stack: .NET, MVC, .NET Core, C#, LINQ, Bootstrap, JQuery, Kendo UI, SQL Server, various additional libraries.
Manage application changes through team life cycle management and code through GIT / TFS frameworks.
Design conceptual and physical data model diagrams and document data flows and communicate data relationships to team members effectively.
Provide leadership and help steer database development to ensure overall solution fits into the architectural and business objectives of the Risk Management teams.
Demonstrate analytical ability with use of data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop applications that are data aware.
Ability to link application data implications with financial data used in executive management information.
Design rich data visualizations to communicate complex ideas.
Extract and analyze data from multiple technology systems/platforms and related data sources to identify factors that pose a risk to WFC.
Analyze and solve problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context.
Being informed and communicating new or emerging risks, including appropriate escalation of concerns and issues, assuring the expected controls and control risk library are accurate, up to date and comprehensive at all times.
Examining and providing input and feedback of the monitoring of existing risk profiles and practices, including appropriate escalation of concerns and issues
Working with all stakeholders to assure each has the tools, processes and expertise to effectively manage technology risks and the risk management policy, methodology and process
Communicating program awareness and communicating/training regarding the program for all stakeholders
Market Skills and Certifications
7- 10+ years' experience in compliance and operational risk (includes audit, legal or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both; or
A minimum of 5 - 7+ Years Experience in Full Stack Development, .NET MVC, SQL Server, C#, LINQ, EF, JQuery, Kendo UI a plus
Experience of hands-on risk reporting, intelligence and analytics experience
Moderate to advanced SQL experience, must have ability to query, read, and evaluate SQL code, tables, and databases.
A balance of incisive numerical and analytical skills, together with an ability to articulate and translate results to senior management
Demonstrated knowledge of risk measurement and methods or equivalent skill
Strong validation and reconciliation competencies, data mining and intellectual curiosity
Strong presentation skills and ability to translate actionable results simplistically
Strong PC skills including Word, Excel, Access, Power Point., Microsoft Project, SharePoint
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and team player.
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Strong writing skills - proven ability to translate data sets and conclusions drawn from analysis into business/executive format and language
Experience / knowledge of data and reporting controls, data governance, G&O, EC&O, technology policies related to data
Experience with Microsoft Visio, or other visualization & documentation software
Oracle, Teradata, Hadoop database experience
Experience with WFC risk or regulatory data, reporting, or technology environments
Experience working with Basel
