This position is reporting into the Human Resource (HR) Controls group, Data & Analytics Team. The team provides shared services to the organization, enabling HR to proactively identify issues, effectively manage risks, and deliver on internal and external commitments.
About the Role The candidate will be responsible for complex partner assignments to identify and define strategic business issues that require analyses and translates this information into insight, knowledge and understanding of the business and the industry. Consults and performs complex analyses/design involving data mining from multiple sources and/or predictive modeling, financial, comparative analysis, demographic analysis, etc. Analytics involved generally span multiple functional areas/data sources. Responsibilities also include identifying opportunities and/or creating sophisticated approaches to analyze and forecast business performance; participating in and/or leading management information capabilities development work; interpreting and presenting results of analyses and recommendations to management. Ensures adherence to data management/data governance regulations and policies. Data involved may be very large, structured or unstructured, and from multiple sources. To a certain degree, may be involved directly or indirectly in the technical build-out and/or support of databases, query tools, reporting tools, BI tools, dashboards, etc. that enable analysis and data visualization.
Analyzing varied data sets for use in BI development

Lead through all aspects of the analytics lifecycle from intake and defining a business problem to extracting data, manipulating data, generating insights, and summarizing "the story" for partners and leaders
Market Skills and Certifications
Essential Qualifications 6-8 years of overall experience in one or a combination of the following:
4+ years of experience in Reporting, analytics, or modeling.
Masters degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis.
3+ years of Standardized Query Language (SQL) or Statistical Analysis System (SAS) experience.
Knowledge of the Operational Risk Framework and disciplines primarily in the Banking industry and its related operations
Experience with developing and creating documentation for support and training activities
Critical thinking and Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Strong comprehension/ability to learn technology tools, communication & analytical skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work with and communicate with all levels of the organization
Proficiency with MS office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Self-starter and able to work independently
Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Ability to research, analyze, document, and present organizational metrics that drive business decisions
Knowledge and understanding of data visualization
Ability to translate complex technical needs into straightforward requests for information and collaboration, working with a wide range of people
Experience in Banking or Multinational Financial Institution.
Experience of working across one or more geographic territories or regions
Experience in data single and multivariate regression, probability, confidence intervals, and data correlation analysis
Exposure to risk tools/data such as SHRP, BIKE, ERID, RCSA, workforce analytics.
