The management of market risk is a key business priority for Nomura and is vital to the successful delivery of the firm's strategy. The AeJ Market Risk team has responsibility for the development and execution of market risk management framework for the region.
The market risk management function in Hong Kong covers a wide range of strategies and products in the credit and equities world, from capital markets and lending to cash and derivative trading to a range of bespoke derivative and financing solutions.
As part of the team, you will be involved in:
Managing daily risk reporting and limit monitoring and ensuring accuracy of data.
Maintaining, developing and implementing new reporting solutions.
Providing reporting to local and global Business, Risk, and Regulatory stakeholders.
Supporting Senior Market Risk Managers on risk analysis and stress testing.
Conducting analysis into risk, market, or modelling.
Collaborating with other corporate functions on issues of common interest (e.g. Finance on valuation and P&L, operations).
Key Experience & Skills
Have at least 1 year working experience in a function relating to trading businesses.
Taste for, and proficiency in, finance and economics.
Understand pricing and knowledge of Credit and/or Equity products
VBA, SQL and database skills.
Fluent Chinese language reading ability.
