Our vision is to be a "Best in Australia" Compliance function by 2020. This brand-new role will provide dedicated Banking Code of Practice advice and support for the Consumer Division. You'll be part of the Consumer Compliance Division and reporting to the Executive Manager Responsible Lending and - Execute the Compliance functional agenda by proactively engaging and providing reliable and relevant compliance advice and oversight - Support the Consumer Compliance Team in the oversight of phase 2 and 3 of the Banking Code of Practice Program - Engage as required with ASIC, Apra And OAIC - Lead the implementation of an effective compliance framework and operation model Partner with business leaders and provide insight, oversight and control of compliance

What do I need? We'd expect you to have proven experience in a similar senior Compliance Operational/Enterprise Risk, Assurance role Ideally, you will have experience Banking and Financial Services with a relevant tertiary qualification (eg Bachelor or postgraduate studies in Compliance). Exposure to regulatory focus points including RG 209 will be highly regarded. You'll also need to have proven exposure across compliance frameworks, including the three lines of defence model, and financial services law obligations.
