Department Overview The EBT Platform Management team is responsible for providing technology solutions for the Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) organization. This includes providing Application Availability, Platform Engineering, and IT Service Management services for a diverse portfolio of 750+ applications.
About the Role
We are seeking Apps System Engineer /Analyst who can be part of the Platform Availability Maintenance & Support (PAMS) team responsible for configuration and maintenance and application support in IT for IT. This resource will be responsible for providing support for technical issues and initiatives related to the URL and Domain Management application. This resource will coordinate resolution of issues with users, the URLDM development team and internal service groups. The resource will updates/write documentation and procedures for supporting the application. The purpose of URLDM is to provide consistent accurate and timely reporting of current and historical data and executive-level regulatory URL data. The project is part of the Technology Compliance Plan which is to establish ongoing formal governance and controls to enable timely triage and disposition of key learnings from cybersecurity events.
Duties are varied and may include one or more of the following:
As an escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application or system problems.
.Net Development/Support, SQL Server Administration Microsoft Windows Administration, IIS Acts as a lead in providing application design guidance and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs.
Acts as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts.
Verifies program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs. Oversees overall systems testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production.
Develops new documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides.
Leads projects, allocates and manages resources and manages the work of less experienced staff. Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees creation of or updates to and testing of the business continuation plan
Market Skills and Certifications
Overall 4+ years of experience in Production/Application support teams
Solid experience in DotNet Support with some knowledge on DotNet development
Good experience in SQL Server Administration
Familiarity with Remedy Workflow Tools (PAC2000) from end-user perspective
3+ years of DotNet Application Development/Support in Windows Environment.
3+ years of experience of Windows 2003 and Windows 2008 operating systems, IIS & .Net
Flexibility to work on off hours when required on rotational basis to support the production/non production environments. Prior 24x7 support experience
Expert knowledge of the following product support practices and concepts: infrastructure design, wide range of technologies within specialty, full project delivery life cycle, IT service level agreements, performance monitoring, tuning, and debugging.
