Department Overview Based in the Dublin Service Centre, the Issuer Services Department is part of the wider Custody and Issuer Services Group. The Department contains a diverse section of units which support our Issuer Services Clients, Product and Sales partners. The services we provide include Depository servicing, Issuing & Paying agency services and Specialised Agency functions such as Account Bank, Project Finance, Structured Finance and Escrow Agent functions. Typical Corporate Trust clients of Citi include major international and national-level corporations, financial institutions (FIs), banks, and public sector/sovereign Debt issuers, as well as investment banks, asset managers, and stand-alone collateral managers. Position Overview This is an entry level role on the Common Depositary team who are responsible for the timely and accurate processing of MT564 Pre-advices to Euroclear and Clearstream in our role of common. The team also manage two busy swift queues on behalf of the entire department. This allows the successful candidate to build knowledge quickly and gain exposure to other teams within the department. You will have the opportunity to enhance Agency and Trust knowledge, across a number of teams, with opportunities to progress within the business. Role position allows for direct communication/exposure to both Euroclear/Clearstream, External Depositaries/PPA's , calculation agents and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
Completion of the daily swift runs, maintaining message logs and resolving any exceptions where required.
Update our core processing platform for numerous income instructions, Coupons, Redemptions, and Dividends.
Compare documentation to system information, check accuracy and highlight discrepancies.
Review Investigation logs on daily basis ensuring all relevant files are updated appropriately.
Liaise with agents to resolve escalated problems.
Ensure SWIFT statistics are complete and sent to the wider department to ensure no discrepancies
Experience and Skills
Ability to multitask
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
Good understanding of general MS software packages (Excel, Word, and Outlook
Proven ability to execute solutions utilising own initiative i.e. process re-engineering.
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ideally have a BA Degree or meet min. educational requirements.
