We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Product Development team and deliver product development, regulatory change and client change projects across multiple global platforms. You would be responsible for a range of projects, from small to large scale, across multiple products areas and clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading planning sessions, scheduling and then signing off project plans
Managing project resources, both on and off-shore, for the duration of the project
Ensuring projects are completed to agreed specification, within deadline and budget
Sprint planning and facilitation of SCRUM meetings
Providing communication briefings and status updates to executive sponsors and program committee
Overseeing project risks and issues and developing appropriate solutions
Collaborating across multiple teams, including Technology, Relationship Management, Operations and Client Service
To be successful, you will need:
A relevant tertiary degree, with a Project Management certification preferred
A minimum of five years' project experience within the financial services industry, preferably with agile/scrum methodology
Good understanding of superannuation and investment management middle-office and back-office processes
Proven problem solving capability with demonstrated ability to drive issues through to resolution
Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build networks across all levels and areas
Proven ability to navigate a matrix organization and provide leadership to achieve project objectives
