As the Risk Assessment Insurance Specialist, you will be responsible for building trusted relationships with Wealth Advisors within RBC Wealth Management Canada and earning the right to work with their High Net Worth clients. With that opportunity you will provide advice based High Net Worth Home and Auto solutions through a personalized risk assessment approach to protect client's wealth, possessions and lifestyle. It is a unique role that bridges both wholesaling and retail. This hybrid role allows you to benefit from various lead generating distribution partnerships while maintaining control of the sales process and the client experience. You will effectively build relationships with Wealth advisors within assigned Wealth Mgmt locations while working with a team of RBC Insurance High Net Worth Specialists.
What will you do?
Effectively partner with Wealth advisors to meet their clients individual to provide advice and HNW Home and Auto solutions to protect their wealth, possessions and lifestyle
Supporting the Wealth Advisor and their HNW client with a trusted and exceptional client experience
Provide technical expertise and advice to clients so that they better understand their unique needs and can then make informed decisions
Partner with Relationship Managers to seamlessly transition clients for ongoing servicing
Contribute to team sales success through achievement of individual sales goals and through effective partnering with other team members (Group Benefits Specialist, and Group Home & Auto Business Development Specialist for business owners, Living Benefits Specialist for Individual Affluent clients)
What do you need to succeed?
General Insurance License including Accident & Sickness
Minimum 7 - 10 years industry experience
Polished professional with experience servicing high net worth clients
A team player....enjoys collaborating within a team of specialists to ensure a client's full needs are addressed
Strong presentation skills and ability to impact and influence
A talent for listening, establishing trust with prospects, and dedicated to finding the right solutions for clients
