JobDescription : The Role: S&P China Ratings Summer Internship Program 2020
The Location: Beijing
The Team: We are looking for penultimate year university students who are passionate about analytics and want to develop their careers in a dynamic, high performing and multicultural team.
The Impact: You will be part of a team that evaluates the overall credit worthiness of issuers and their ability to make timely interest and principal repayment. You will also support teams that evaluate collateral pools, credit risk, structural considerations, legal considerations, and the ability of securitization issuers to meet their obligations to make timely interest and repay principal for a wide variety of structured finance asset types.
What's in it for you: You will be offered the opportunity to assist S&P China Ratings in achieving its mission of being one of the leading providers of the highest quality risk evaluations and analytical information to China financial markets. You will also be required to complete an analytical project for the duration of the summer program. Using public information, interns will be responsible for all due diligence and research, in order to analyze the assigned entity. Interns will present their final recommendation at the end of the internship to a group of senior analysts.
Provide timely and accurate quarterly financial statistics and data analysis
Assist in reporting, presentation and modelling
Support the team on execution improvement and ad-hoc writing projects
What We're Looking For:
You are a university student in your penultimate year of study with strong academic standing within Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics or a related business/quantitative discipline
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
You have strong analytical skills and strong learning agility
You have the ability to work in a deal-driven, collaborative work environment
You have strong verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin
