Our client is a high profile, large investment manager with an excellent track record. They are looking for a contract Channel Marketing Manager who can hit the ground running. You will be based in the European Client Group. This is an excellent opportunity to add value within a business that is diversifying/growing right across the marketing function. The successful candidate will need to be a good team player, be able to juggle a multitude of tasks, evince a strong eye for detail and be proactive and innovative in their approach to meeting client needs.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Responsible for delivering marketing support for all distribution channels
Working with investment teams and central marketing teams to develop compelling and differentiated marketing propositions
Propose, develop and over-see the execution of European marketing strategies and campaigns in support of focus Funds, fund launches and other funds as necessary
Ensure campaigns are communicated to the European client group
Work with the central marketing communications, investment writing and digital marketing team on the execution of campaigns to ensure that they supportive of the core fund propositions
Originating / adapting copy for market updates / literature
Extensive experience with social media and online marketing
Necessary qualifications and competencies:
At least 7 years relevant experience within an asset manager and at least 5 years within investment management Marketing department
English language skills (fluent written and spoken) are essential. Italian and/or German language skills are preferred but not a must
Excellent eye for detail
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Comfortable communicating with senior management and people from all areas within the firm
Relationship-builder both internally and externally
