We are looking for a Python/C++ Developer to enhancethe functionality of various analytical libraries used for pricing, risk andvaluation of fixed income products. The primary focus will be on mortgages andmortgage backed securities, with support to supplement capabilities forintraday pricing of mortgage options and financial futures.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
Proficient developing software in Python/C++ in a Linux environment is absolutely required.
Experience with object oriented languages and design patterns
Experience developing, maintaining, deploying and supporting fixed income pricing and risk applications is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Solid oral and written skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g. Perl, Python) is a plus.
Familiarity with communications/messaging/middleware, TCP/IP, client/server and n-tier architectures is a plus.
