Join our team as a Data and Systems Business Analyst and help us deliver on a significant book of work that is crucial to the organisation. This is a unique opportunity for you to design and implement market leading data capabilities that will enable the data-driven transformation of our Financial Management functions.
In this role, you will work directly with business stakeholders to define needs and recommend solutions for Finance, Tax and Treasury use cases. You will work with data modellers and technical architects to outline conceptual and logical data models that meet reporting and analytics needs and document business rules for data quality and application performance. You'll have the opportunity to work with industry leading risk and reporting platforms, Enterprise data warehouse, AWS / Cloudera and our analytics and visualisation tools. You will ensure requirements are aligned to our standards and policies for data management and application design.
Ideally you will have experience working with financial, regulatory reporting or risk platforms and related data structures. You'll be familiar with the data management and governance requirements applicable to regulated financial institutions, and possess strong data analysis and database skills, with experience specifying data requirements, data gap analysis, relational data models and concepts, and SQL proficiency. You will be comfortable working with all levels of stakeholders and be able to build relationships quickly.
Your strong analytical, problem solving skills, coupled with your experience within Finance, will ensure you are successful in this role.
