In this demanding, but rewarding, role you'll help drive the effective and efficient management of conduct risk within the Consumer Division.
Fundamental to this role will be developing and maintaining a Consumer Division conduct risk management framework as well as monitoring and upholding our strong risk culture through the management of that framework.
You will support the Divisional CRO in the oversight, identification and management of conduct risk across the end-to-end value chain.
What will I be doing day-to-day?
You will provide advice and direction to the leadership team based on a strong understanding of risk frameworks and processes as well as ensuring a robust governance structure, frameworks and escalation points across the Consumer Division. You will actively contribute to and in some cases own the preparation of risk papers at various senior forums and committees as well as contribute to relevant positions on regulatory changes and stay abreast of emerging issues in the financial services industry.
You will provide specialist advice - highlighting risk, process and control improvement opportunities and ensuring appropriate allocation of funding to the remediation of portfolio-based issues. You will engage, inform, influence and negotiate with stakeholders, particularly key business stakeholders to ensure all remain engaged & committed and that CRO observations and strategic objectives are understood and prioritised.

What do I need?
You will be a seasoned risk professional with a minimum of 10 years' experience in risk management and/or Compliance (with previous conduct risk experience advantageous)
You will also have a demonstrated ability in risk oversight and governance in a range of risk types as well as practical experience in dealing with operational process and procedure in financial services environment.
