The Control Room is process owner and responsible for Group Transactional Conflicts and information Walls Procedures, the Group Personal Account Dealing ("PAD") Procedures and the Group Outside Business Interest ("OBI") Procedures. The purpose of the procedures are to help the Group manage any actual, potential or perceived areas of conflicts of interest that may arise during providing financial services to its Clients. And to ensure the integrity of the Walls between Public and Private side teams remain intact.
The Role Responsibilities
Control Room Analyst based in Warsaw who will be supporting the execution of the team's responsibilities. The primary areas of responsibility will be managing and performing the core functions owned by the Control Room including:
Pre-clearance of Outside Business Interests requests of staff
Pre-clear Personal Account Dealing requests of staff to ensure compliance with the procedures
Post trade monitoring of Personal Account Dealing to ensure compliance with the procedures
Response to ad-hoc employee queries (via telephone and email) regarding personal account dealing and outside business account dealing requests based upon the department operations instructions manual.
Help to monitor and manage processes related to the Group's Information Walls Procedures
Responsibility for helping manage the Control Rooms Operational Risk Framework and undertake CST reviews relating to all relevant processes
Produce intelligent Management Information (MI) and analyse the MI for potential trends, risks and potential hotspots
Work closely with Control Room colleagues globally to achieve departmental and Group objectives, and actively embrace the "Valued Behaviours"
Assist the Head of Control Room in the development and maintenance of Control Room policies and procedures as directed
Provide support to SIS, CFCC & GIA colleagues as applicable for regulatory and internal investigations
Investigate potential breaches of Control Room procedures, ensuring issues are resolved fairly & consistently under the Control Room Breach Framework
Help manage the annual attestation process for Personal Account Dealing and Outside Business Interests of staff
Our Ideal Candidate
Bachelor's degree, preferably in business or finance
Candidates with knowledge of and a passion for compliance, regulation, risk management, and that wish to pursue a career with Compliance in the financial services industry.
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent presentation skills, data analysis and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with all levels of management and staff.
Ability to prioritize, multi-task, work under pressure and handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
Pro-active and possess continuous improvement mindsets to improve compliance service.
Handle ad-hoc tasks or special assignment and to deliver as per timeline & expectation.
