We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Associate .
Supporting Global Banking Relationship Managers in global client on boarding and the ongoing management and oversight of due diligence activities through the full client lifecycle with HSBC on behalf of Global Banking and Markets both as a customer group and product provider
Providing the single point of contact for customer due diligence renewal activities across the China Client Management Group location, at a Country, Sector or Sub sector level depending on the scale of the operation within the operating location
Coordinating client renewal and off boarding activity on behalf of the Global Banking & Markets Relationship Managers aligned to clients requirements
Accountable for working closely with all functional teams including Credit due diligence, Client Documentation Negotiation, KYC and Client Identification Due Diligence, Entity Maintenance and Account Maintenance, to ensure priorities are aligned and deadlines can be met across the end to end process
Strong business knowledge and a working knowledge of corporate banking clients and products that are utilised but with the ability to gather information when required to fill the skill gaps
Strong knowledge of the regulatory requirements and KYC standard
Proven track record of the ability to drive new business initiatives by pulling in the Bank's resources effectively. Proven track record of quality contribution to drive event deal.
University graduate with excellent client service skills
Experience in client facing role and investment banking experience or knowledge is preferred
Good understanding of risk management and risk mitigation
Must be detail-conscious and able to work independently under pressure
Strong analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and problem solving abilities
Proficiency in spoken and written English and Mandarin
