We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Manager Product Governance and Conduct .
Plan and lead the implementation of strategic initiatives relating to HSBC Commercial Banking Conduct Programme and to drive the embedment of conduct in order to ensure that we deliver fair outcomes for our customers and do not disrupt the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets across HSBC Commercial Banking
Oversee and drive the implementation of key conduct initiatives such as Pricing governance and including validation of requirement, gap analysis and remediation in coordination with relevant stakeholders
Establish and manage robust oversight including the reporting of metrics to support the management of conduct risks and ensuring issues are noted or approved at relevant Forums
Manage the Outcome Testing program within business for effective post-sales checking to ensure delivery of fair customer outcomes
Oversee and manage business suitability risk within business by acting as a champion for all relevant product governance initiatives and engaging HSBC Commercial Banking stakeholders, product providers and support functions to drive sales suitability initiatives
Be the subject matter expert to connect with diverse stakeholders in the Bank to deliver initiatives related to product governance as well as provide advice and guidance to HSBC Commercial Banking business and various business partners, including but not limited to client service teams, HSBC Commercial Banking frontline, product sales and Operations on matters related to sales suitability and product governance.
University graduate in a relevant discipline with solid general banking experience in Commercial Banking, preferably in a frontline role, Business Management, Regulatory Change or Governance and Reporting
Solid background in Commercial Banking, preferably in a frontline role, Business Management, Regulatory Change or Governance and Reporting
Capacity to keep abreast of latest economic trends, market opportunities and understanding of commercial banking environment in Hong Kong
Ability to develop, lead and drive the implementation of business plans and strategies
Excellent analytical skills, lateral thinking and multi-tasking capability
Proven experience of successful project management, utilizing relevant tools and techniques to ensure consistent delivery
Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
Ability to develop cohesive working relationship with business partners
Proficiency in both verbal and written English and Cantonese will be preferred
