Risk Management Group (RMG) is responsible for the development and maintenance of risk management and internal control frameworks. We provide independent review and challenge to business to ensure that appropriate balance is considered in risk/return decisions. In addition, RMG is responsible for the monitoring and reporting on key risk issues of the Bank. To manage risk effectively and deliver strong financial performance, we invest significantly in our people and infrastructure.
Design & manage MIS & data analytics standards to control portfolio quality through the credit cycle. Cultivate & maintain a consistent consumer credit culture in the Bank to achieve best-in-class standards.
Collaborate closely with the Credit Policy team in designing and managing the credit policies for all consumer lending products. Perform in-depth analysis on both secured and unsecured products portfolios to assess risk & opportunities and validate and refine various credit policies through use of analytics. Establish and maintain risk monitoring structure and portfolio quality standards for consumer credit products Support business initiatives and ensure loan acquisition strategies are based on risk/ reward balance, with alignment to business strategies and in compliance with relevant regulations Drive continuous improvements in analytics capabilities using both traditional and non-traditional data as well as enhancements in the use of risk analytics tools. Support scorecard monitoring and analysis; involve in the scorecard development as well as validation of the score cut-off. Identify opportunities for continuous improvements and digitization in credit processes.
1. Work in close collaboration with the Credit Policy team to:
Support new Business initiatives & proposals for incorporation into product programs Engage business partners in regular asset quality reviews with provision of analytics insights to identify risks/ opportunities and recommend relevant actions Support review of credit policies and program risk acceptance criteria regularly, with analytical insights of portfolio trends & performance Drive portfolio management initiatives through the credit cycle management framework by jointly working in partnership with product managers, credit approval team, credit operations team and collection team
2. Work with team to streamline and automate MIS & reporting functions
University Degree in any relevant field At least 6-8 years of exposure in consumer credit/ lending, preferably covering both secured and unsecured lending with strong data analytics skill and ability. All-round understanding of consumer loan products and credit cycle management framework, including product structure/ packaging, regulatory requirements, consumer lending business & market dynamics, key risk & revenue drivers, product profitability, performance analysis. Some experience in managing a small team of 3-4 team members would be preferred. Programming skills (SAS, Python, R, VBA, SPSS, etc.) Experience in dashboarding tools like Power BI, Tableau or Qlikview preferred. Decisive and solution focused, with strong analytical & problem-solving skills Good communication, interpersonal and writing skills
