Our goal is to build a distinctive private banking business that takes advantage of the combined strengths of Westpac Private Bank, St. George Private, Bank of Melbourne Private and the Westpac Group.
Few, (if any), private banks could truly understand their client's total banking and wealth picture or offer a truly holistic financial offering to their clients, providing clients best in class banking and wealth solutions throughout the various stages in their lives. We create enduring relationships to help our clients manage, protect and grow their wealth across generations.
How will I help?
Few financial professionals can lay claim to having 'trusted adviser' status with high net worth individuals - but that's how Westpac's Private Bankers approach every one of their client relationships. You'll be maintaining that standard.
Diving deep into each individual customer's circumstances and priorities - not to mention their ambitions - you'll use the tools and processes on-hand to deliver genuinely inspiring outcomes. New business opportunities are never out of reach for you, and you'll hit revenue targets by not only selling - but by setting an example for a brilliant client experience.
What's in it for me?
Inspiring locations. Flexible work spaces. And unexpected opportunities. Plus, the backing and outstanding benefits of one of the most refreshing employers in Australia. For example, you'll be able to have access to some of the best banking, wealth and insurance benefits in the market, get paid well, and an entire suite of online learning and career planning tools so you can grow.
What do I need?
Ambition - and plenty of it. Along with at least 5 - 10 years' experience in lending and credit - particularly in wealth management and dealing with Wholesale Sophisticated Investors, and in growing portfolios through clients that are new to the bank.
You'll need to be RG146 compliant and degree qualified that relates to the industry too. Post Graduate studies in a business-related discipline would be considered favourably but not a pre-requisite. Perhaps most importantly, you'll understand the hard work that goes into sales and relationship management - and how to deliver those skills every day.
What is it like to work there?
