We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Associate Director, M ission Control .
Operate a global first line governance framework within the Global Markets Equities Electronic Trading business, which ensures that the business is conducted in accordance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations and codes of practice
Ensure that the management information provided to governance forums is appropriate for business sponsor needs
Assist in driving the Global Rules and control framework and implementation
Ensure that any bank driven projects related to Electronic Trading Rules and Controls are coordinated and delivered in a joined up and efficient manner, to ensure that the requirements are met
Act as the first point of contact for all Regulatory, Exchange driven and ad hoc Electronic trading requests
Ensure that periodic requirements under regulation are delivered in a timely fashion. This will include, but not limited to, control change reviews, testing deliverables and attestations
Represent Global Markets Equities internally at governance forums and externally to regulators where front line representation is needed
Provide frontline real time monitoring oversight of the Electronic Trading platform
Candidate must have a good understanding of an Electronic Trading Platform and the processes involved in this.
Candidate would need excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills and confidence to deal with senior and executive level staff.
Ability to work across all levels of the organisation to understand cross functional linkages and interdependencies, as well as the implications of risk at both a strategic level and at the business unit level
Ability to form effective relationships and achieve influence at the most senior level in the organisation
Ambition to enhance business and technology knowledge and skills in a rapidly changing and dynamic markets environment.
