The Brookfield Infrastructure Group is one of Brookfield Asset Management's primary operating groups. The Infrastructure Group operates and manages assets owned through its private funds and public listed entity, Brookfield Infrastructure Partners. Our portfolio of infrastructure assets are primarily in the utilities, transport, energy and communication infrastructure sectors, located in North and South America, Europe and the Asia Pacific region.
Position Summary : As a member of the Infrastructure Group's finance team, the Analyst will report to a Manager, Finance and will have opportunity to work with all levels of the Finance team as well as Investor Relations, Tax and Treasury to comprehend the business holistically. The Analyst will be directly involved in the consolidation of Infrastructure's public vehicle, Brookfield Infrastructure Partners L.P as well as preparation of both public filing materials and management presentations.
A key contributor in the consolidation of Brookfield Infrastructure Partners L.P
Supporting a high volume of corporate general ledgers
Preparation of quarterly financial statements
Preparation of disclosure schedules and coordination with auditors
Preparation of financial analyses in support of FP&A activities
Ad-hoc analysis, reporting and presentations on financial and operational results
Special projects as required
One to three (1-3) years of experience in a finance and/or accounting function
An undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
Working towards or completed a professional accounting designation (CPA)
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with demonstrated leadership and teamwork
Superior communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
Organized and able to multi-task, prioritize and meet all deadlines
Self-motivated and proactive, with respect to both managing workload and professional development
