Here's where you come in To support the growth of AustralianSuper we are seeking an Analyst who will assist in the integration of material ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) investment issues throughout the investment portfolio with a strong focus on unlisted assets. In this role, you will:
Work closely with internal stakeholders/investors and within a team environment on varied deals and transactions
Contribute to internal management teams in relation to incorporating ESG into valuations and providing commentary on issues
Complete research and due diligence on transactions under consideration
Assist in building and updating ESG due diligence frameworks for unlisted assests
Assist in undertaking ESG monitoring of unlisted assests including site visits, report writing and presentations to internal names
Assist with the engagement program with listed company boards
Support the administration of AustralianSuper's stock voting process and assisting in the analysis and formation of voting decisions
Contribute in the development of ESG policies and achieving ESG objectives
Become an SME and advocate on public policy relating to ESG investment issues
Attend meetings and workshops as an AustralianSuper representative as required
2-3 years in Financial Services - Sustainability or Engineering fields
Experience in either ESG or Investments issues essential
A strong interest and/or exposure in ESG issues
Ability to effectively and comfortably communicate with internal investors and external parties
Proven experience in research, completing due diligence and providing advice/relative information
Ability to prepare reports, analyse information and draw conclusions/recommendations
Excellent organisational, prioritisation and self-management skills
Relevant qualifications highly regarded
