The Role Responsibilities
Sound knowledge of the China market and a good understanding of the opportunities opening up for corporate clients under the Belt & Road and Greater Bay Area initiatives
Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English writing
Familiar with the digital marketing landscape in China (ie. WeChat)
Work with key business stakeholders from CIB & CB to strategies, develop and execute marketing initiatives that helps to stand out the Bank's position in the marketplace and drive marketing activities accordingly to fulfil business needs
Becoming a value-adding partner to business by providing guidance to business in terms of implementing and executing marketing plan.
Event execution: organising seminars, conferences, client hospitality events approved in the marketing plan to the highest levels of professionalism, consistent with the differentiated experience per client segment on time and budget
Work with external marketing agencies to deliver marketing programmes in creative ways and also ensure it aligns with the brand promise.
Branding: advising and safeguarding the branding and educate business stakeholders to follow branding guidelines
Manage the marketing finance reporting, procurement arrangement, liaison for operational matters, etc.
CIB & CB Segments and all Products especially FM, TB, CF for Marketing initiatives coordination
CEO offices for marketing initiatives coordination
Group B&M for alignment of global strategy
CA for media related event management, media interview with CIB & CB management to build brand and profile and proactive management of potential negative media story
SCM for procurement advice on vendor engagement & employment of service
Finance for bill payment and cost centre transactions
Legal and Compliance for expert advice on marketing initiatives and clearance of marketing materials
External Partners - Event Agency / Production house / Media Agency for expert advice on development of event/ client engagement strategy and creative execution
External Partners - Strategic Alliance for development & execution of joint marketing initiatives for mutual benefits

Our Ideal Candidate
Languages; English & Mandarin - fluent
Strong writing and communication skills in Chinese and English
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or business
At least 8-10 years' experience in B2B marketing, preferably in the financial services industry with a track record of implementing successful marketing initiatives
Knowledge of practices proven effective/impactful in reaching clients
Strong organisational and project management skills
Proven measurement and analytic capability, especially in relation to ROI
Ability to work with and facilitate teams, manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines
Comfortable in interfacing with external clients
Superior influencing and negotiation skills
Superior stakeholder management
Experience managing intranet systems
Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong experience with Microsoft Office suite
Must be willing to travel
