We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Marketing Manager, Integrated Marketing Communications .
This role is part of the Global Marketing function which is focused on supporting the strategic and revenue growth priorities of Commercial Banking (CMB) in Hong Kong. Marketing for Commercial Banking focuses on understanding present and future customer needs and the identification, development and execution of marketing strategies, campaigns and activities that support and strengthen the HSBC brand, support the drive for revenue and increase customer value and satisfaction in order to meet agreed targets and objectives at a market level.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing CMB HK, the role holder leads the Integrated Marketing Communications team to plan, develop and implement customer-focused and integrated marketing campaigns and activities in line with the CMB marketing strategy and plan in order to support the strategic business priorities and revenue growth targets of CMB HK.
Drive the planning and development of integrated marketing campaigns, including events and with a focus on digital marketing activities to support brand building, acquisition and deepening of customer relationship.
Deploy and manage marketing technology tools and platforms such as Eloqua for the delivery of email and digital campaigns.
Direct the development of effective media strategies across different communication channels with a focus on digital channels to maximize return on marketing investment.
Define campaign objectives and KPIs, and ensure there is proper assessment and performance evaluation in place to measure campaign effectiveness and efficiency
Direct the activation of the global and regional campaigns, including events and sponsorships, as well as the effective deployment of creative strategies/assets within the market in a globally consistent and locally relevant manner.
Proactively identify joint marketing opportunities with external strategic partners.
Identify and drive synergy across Commercial Banking and Global banking Markets marketing campaigns and activities to achieve greater impact and efficiency.
Accountable for the appropriate deployment of marketing campaign budget to deliver against the agreed business and marketing objectives.
Close collaboration with Communications team and Retail Banking and Wealth Management Marketing team as part of the one brand approach marketing.
Share best practice with the wider marketing community and collaborate with other global business marketing teams on bank-wide marketing projects.
Degree level qualification in marketing and or business studies preferred.
Extensive and broad based business and marketing experience, ideally within a Financial Service institution with B2B Marketing experience.
A range of strategic and operational experience with demonstrable success in leading the development and execution of significant marketing plans and high profile integrated campaigns and events
Solid experience in digital marketing across owned and paid channels, and deep understanding of social media, performance marketing, optimization and martech.
Proven experience in applying data led customer insights in campaign design and development
Proven leadership working in a complex matrix organisation.
Experience of managing agencies driving for greater value and application of resources
Commitment to putting the customer at the heart of all development and implementation activities.
Proven ability in operating with and influencing leadership teams.
Proven ability to be a self starter with energy and drive in a challenging and dynamic environment.
Ability to think innovatively, shaping and communicating new concepts.
