You will: - Be responsible for the daily planning and operation of the team`s tasks and responsibilities. - Ensure that the team meets the goals and levels of production and service required by the counterparties. - Coordinate with Regional Investment Controllers, Fund Controllers and BU for proper review and timing of processes. - Manage requirements from stakeholders. - Ensure that LPAs (Limited Partnership Agreements) are properly followed. - Produce regular reports for management including aging analysis, detailed expense analysis and reports. - Implement team goals and objectives. - Supervise, train and guide team members. - Review the processes aiming to apply more effective receivable collection protocol. - Liaise with stakeholders on process changes as needed.
You have: - Bachelor's degree in preferably in accounting, finance, or related disciplines - Excellent command / highly proficient in spoken and written English with strong attention to detail. - Strong analytical and problem solving skills. - Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word). - Proven leadership, willingness to develop relationships and work with teams across the regions contributing to common goals. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, high energy level environment. - 5+ years' work experience in a related field is an advantage.
Team Profile: The Investment Management Billables team supports the Investment Management business and is responsible for coordinating and facilitating the Fund Billable Process, for Real Estate and Private Credit and Equity. The main responsibilities include aged receivable reporting, coordinating between various business units, fundraising accounting, coordination of third party (Fund) payments to Morgan Stanley, and oversight of the Investment Management Balance Sheet receivable accounts. Further responsibilities include maintain database of partnerships including updates for job code changes. Reconcile discrepancies between the Firm`s General Ledger and the Firm`s billables subledger system. The team in Budapest works closely with the New York office and other regions globally. This position requires a strong, self-motivated individual, who has the ability to prioritize and multi-task. The role has dual reporting obligations to world-wide real estate business units and Investment Management accounting teams.
